Busy Bee Maids Charitable Donation Policy

At Busy Bee Maids, we believe in giving back and supporting causes that strengthen our communities and we are honored when organizations and clients think of us to support their missions. To ensure our contributions are meaningful and aligned with our values and capacity, we’ve established the following donation guidelines:

Types of Donations We Offer

We consider monetary donations and in-kind service donations. Our focus is on making contributions that will have a real, tangible impact.

Eligibility Criteria

Be a registered nonprofit (501(c)(3)) or community-based initiative
Align with one or more of the following focus areas:
- Health and wellness
- Local education and youth programs
- Community development within our service area
- Environmental sustainability

Service Area Limitation

We prioritize support for organizations and events within our established service area. For causes located outside of this area, especially where our services wouldn’t be accessible to most participants, we will consider direct monetary donation (if appropriate) rather than an in-kind offer.

Other Limitations and Exclusions

We generally do not donate to:

Individuals or personal fundraisers (e.g., GoFundMe pages) who are not an employee of our company
Political campaigns or organizations
Religious organizations, unless the support directly benefits the broader community (e.g., food pantry, shelter)
Donate more than once bi-annually to a single employee or client’s mission

Donation Limits

Busy Bee Maids allocates an undisclosed amount contingent upon a number of factors toward charitable contributions each year. To ensure our charitable giving remains sustainable, donations to any single organization or client-affiliated cause is limited to no more than 25% of that annual giving budget. This approach allows us to support meaningful initiatives with fairness while maintaining financial responsibility. No organization may receive a donation more than one year in a row.

How to Request a Donation

All donation requests must be submitted in writing at least 2 weeks in advance (although more is generally better) and include:

The name and mission of the organization
Event or campaign details
The type of donation requested (monetary or service)
How the donation will be recognized or used

Final Notes

We wish we could support every request that comes our way, but due to limited capacity, we can only select a few organizations each year. We evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis and appreciate your understanding.
